Camp For the Whole Family

It Isn’t Just for the kids anymore

Parents, grandparents and kids are invited to join us for a weekend at Family Camp – it is the perfect way to experience everything Perlman has to offer. You’ll have the opportunity to relax in our heated pool or jump on the aquapark, fly high at the ropes course, create something in arts & crafts, or pick up a sports game. Experience Shabbat in our beautiful amphitheater overlooking the lake and dance your heart out at Israeli dancing. Enjoy a family vacation without worrying about meals, driving, or activity-planning – and babysitting is included.

FAQs

Do I need to be a current Perlman Camp family or alum to attend Family Camp?
Absolutely not! We welcome anyone and everyone to enjoy family camp with us.
Can grandparents or other family members join us?
Yes! Grandparents or other family members are welcome to register for the weekend as well.
What are the different housing options?
Most families choose to stay in a Bunk. Each family will be housed in their own bunk, and share a bathroom with one other family (housed in the connecting bunk). Please let us know if you have a family you prefer to share with! Each of our bunks houses 8-12 campers, and has 6 bunk beds and two single beds. Each set of two bunks is connected by a bathroom and shower room. Our Lodge option is best for those who prefer motel-style accommodations to camp bunk beds! Lodge rooms have either one queen or two twin beds. Families may opt for one room (if you have a single child who will be in a pack and play or air mattress), or two connecting rooms.
Will there be babysitting available?
Children ages 3-12 can join our age-specific programming and have a chance to participate in camp activities including sports, arts, outdoor adventure and more. They will be supervised by Perlman camp counselors. In the evenings, counselors will be “on-duty” to supervise children after parents have put them to bed so you can enjoy your evening with the adults! Families with children under 3 years old are welcome to join us for the weekend, but children must be supervised by a parent at all times. You are welcome to join any age-appropriate camp activities with your child!
What are the facilities like?
Perlman Camp is located on 350 acres in the Poconos. Check out our Virtual Tour to see our beautiful site!
What is the food like? Can you accommodate special dietary needs and allergies?
All food served at Perlman Camp is Kosher, and we do not use any peanuts or tree nuts in our kitchen. In addition to the main entrees at every meal, we have a well-stocked salad bar and alternative options for all dietary needs. We are proud to be able to safely accommodate individuals with a wide variety of food allergies and intolerances. Our kitchen staff are able to provide vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and other allergen-free meals. We have a separate prep area for food allergies and our team is trained in allergy-safe food practices.  If any member of your family has a special dietary need, we are happy to discuss accommodations.
