Alumni Weekend

August 16-18, 2024

The Perlman Camp Alumni Association invites all alumni, friends, and family to join us for this exciting weekend at camp celebrating our 70th Anniversary.

The weekend begins with a celebration of Shabbat, followed by singing and Israeli dance favorites.

On Saturday, you’ll have a chance to try out camp’s program areas, including our new ropes course and Aqua Park. You’ll be able to hike up to Mount Baldy, play in a softball game, and end the evening with Havdallah, followed by a campfire.

The cost of attendance includes all meals (Friday dinner-Sunday lunch), bunk lodging, and activities.

FAQs

What are the different housing options?
You may choose to stay in a bunk or a room in the Skolnick Lodge. You may request who you would like to share your bunk with, and you will share a bathroom with one other group (housed in the connecting bunk). Each of our bunks houses 8-12 campers, and has 6 bunk beds and two single beds. Each set of two bunks is connected by a bathroom and shower room.

For those wishing to stay in the Skolnick Lodge, rooms are available on a first come first served basis at an additional cost of $100 per person. Rooms will have either a full size bed or 2 twin beds. Rooms share a bathroom with an adjoining room. Please let us know if you have a preference as to who you share a bathroom with.

Will there be babysitting available?
Children ages 3-12 can join our age-specific programming and have a chance to participate in camp activities including sports, arts, outdoor adventure and more. They will be supervised by Perlman camp counselors. In the evenings, counselors will be “on-duty” to supervise children after parents have put them to bed so you can enjoy your evening with the adults! Families with children under 3 years old are welcome to join us for the weekend, but children must be supervised by a parent at all times. You are welcome to join any age-appropriate camp activities with your child!
What is the food like? Can you accommodate special dietary needs and allergies?
All food served at Perlman Camp is Kosher, and we do not use any peanuts or tree nuts in our kitchen. In addition to the main entrees at every meal, we have a well-stocked salad bar and alternative options for all dietary needs. We are proud to be able to safely accommodate individuals with a wide variety of food allergies and intolerances. Our kitchen staff are able to provide vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and other allergen-free meals. We have a separate prep area for food allergies and our team is trained in allergy-safe food practices.  If any member of your family has a special dietary need, we are happy to discuss accommodations.
